Hello again everyone, sorry for delaying the posts and site downtime. I have donated geldik.biz’ server to a poor family, it wasnt a good computer for playing crysis but it was satisfying Pentium III one and so i have migrated the blog to a free server. (byethost) No problems except for slowness and htaccess. htaccess is not working correctly here and im stucked with permalinks so i dont suggest giving links till we migrate to a new server. I know its not good for google optimization but i dont care about it anymore. Leave free, die free dude !

Hey, great, you’re on the Byethost.
On which volume is your website and which database server it uses? Mine is on Byethost for about a month and now it’s down. It had been running perfectly until last week but than started to slow and create pages with 16 queries in 120 seconds 
Tonight there is a problem with the database server or with the connection to it. Panel doesn’t show any of my databases now. I hope admins solve the issue in a short time.
Also I wonder how you hosted your site on your hown, with what kind of connection, adsl or sth. different, etc… Please tell me about this.

Nice to see an english speaking one here. Im on byethost13 and sql103 server. Im writing an article about hosting a web site in your house so please be patient about it. It will be great for newbies i promise.

Thanks man. Mine is byethost13 and sql113, so all the sites using the databases on sql113 were down last night, but today it is working. Also some time ago they launched the fifth volume in which sites run faster.
As I think mine is on the older volumes. Now I think I have a different problem. Last month I used nearly the 1/3 of the CPU time quota in half month. This month it is just 9 of March but I used 1/4 of it. So I think my website may be down at the end of the month. I don’t think it overloads the CPU too much, I tested it by stopping the queries with the highest CPU usage but it did not helped, my pages are being created slow. The problem is shared hosting CPU cannot run freely thus it has to create the pages slowly and in more than one second. Because of this, my CPU usage time increases rapidly. I closed some plugins put it didn’t helped decreasing the CPU usage time.
Anyway, I’m waiting for your home server post.
Also I should say that by writing in English, your blogosphere will expand but there are more English bloggers than the Turkish bloggers.
I forget to say that .htaccess is working good on byethost, maybe your codes in the file can be broken. Except permalinks I’m using it also to add mime types.
